Deepak Chahar Sidelined By a Hamstring Injury

Deepak Chahar, the Chennai Super Kings pacer, has been sidelined by hamstring damage and is set to miss two weeks of activity, head mentor Stephen Fleming affirmed toward the finish of the match against Mumbai Indians on Saturday (April 28).

The 24-year old pacer pulled his hamstring while at the same time blowing away his third against Mumbai Indians in Match 27 of IPL 2018 in Pune. He cleared out the field promptly and did not return for whatever is left of the amusement as CSK went ahead to lose by eight wickets.

"He has had hamstring wounds before, he has an entirely smart thought when he is stuck in an unfortunate situation so it's likely two or three weeks which is somewhat of a blow," Fleming said amid the post-coordinate question and answer session.

Chahar has featured in all the seven games for CSK so far, picking up six wickets at an average of 23.17.
